The first major leg of my journey is complete. Woke up at about 11:30pm on Sunday, finished packing and was on the road before 2am. Reached Nevada as the Sun was coming up and crossed the salt flats into Utah around noon on Monday. It was quite the trip. Nevada was pretty insignificant though surprisingly green and at a gas stop I heard my favorite grackles making a scene :) But it was humid windy weather that I was anxious to get out of and while the Utah salt flats were gorgeous I was over it by the time I got there haha Despite my increasingly short temper I did snap some nice shots while speeding down I-80. Off to bed I go (officially been up 24 hrs)
